News & EventsThe Association for General and Liberal Studies (AGLS) is accepting applications for the 2012 Exemplary Program Award. The award will recognize institutions using assessment to improve general and liberal education learning. Read more about the award and application process.

 

The National Institute for Learning Outcomes (NILOA) selected North Carolina A&T State University as part of its case studies series featuring institutions using assessment data to make improvements in teaching and learning. North Carolina A&T was selected because of its commitment to creating a "culture of inquiry" on its campus. A participant in the Wabash National Study, A&T started a student-led focus group program to better understand students' responses to Wabash Study data. Wabash Study
 

The Center of Inquiry is collaborating with 29 institutions in the Wabash Study 2010. This is a three-year project designed to create a deliberative process for using evidence that an institution can build on for improvements in student learning.
